Our projects

Fauna & Flora works in nearly 50 countries around the world, on more than 120 projects that aim to save nature, together with our conservation partners.

From saving saiga and gorillas, to restoring nature-depleted islands and protecting seagrass meadows, we have a track record of conservation success. And, while we apply our expertise and experience to all areas of our work, no two projects are ever the same.

In keeping with our partnership-led approach, projects are flexed to the needs of the species, landscapes, environments and communities we work with.

For some projects, our own staff will work hands-on in the field with our partners on a daily basis. In other places, we provide ongoing capacity development and support, including funding, technical expertise and help with operations.

Fauna & Flora has helped us at every stage of our development, providing secondments, project funding and organisation management, and we still work very closely with the team. We see Fauna & Flora as a mentor organisation, someone who’s there for us when we need it. It’s gone from a business to a friendship relationship.
