We are seeking a Wellbeing & EDI Officer to play a key role in driving forward Fauna & Flora’s wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion programmes of work.
This is a brand new and exciting role, with the chance to make a real difference to Fauna & Flora and its people, as we strive to protect threatened species and habitats around the world. You will develop, coordinate, promote and support a programme of work contributing to improved employee wellbeing, including mindfulness, mindful ways of working and wider wellbeing initiatives, and a programme of work to further advance equality, diversity and inclusion within Fauna & Flora, in line with our priority objectives.
You will work closely with the People Adviser and with the EDI Working Group, engaging with people across Fauna & Flora globally. Your experience in cross-organisation consultation and collaboration and your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build positive, productive working relationships with colleagues across different cultures. You will be passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion and have a genuine interest in employee wellbeing, with a particular focus on mindfulness. You will have experience coordinating and supporting wellbeing and/or EDI initiatives, and be skilled in conducting research and analysing data. Excellent organisational and administrative skills are essential, as is a methodical approach to work and a clear focus on outputs. Fluency in English is essential; working knowledge of other languages relevant to Fauna & Flora would be an advantage.
In return, we offer the opportunity to work for a ground-breaking organisation at the forefront of global conservation, with generous pension contribution, attractive annual leave allowance, and life insurance.
Our offices are located in The David Attenborough Building in central Cambridge, just a few minutes’ walk from glorious historic buildings and museums, the picturesque River Cam, the central market and shopping centre, and a host of cafés and restaurants
