Fauna & Flora International receives Charity Navigator 4-star rating

We are so pleased to share the following outstanding news:  Fauna & Flora International has again received the coveted top rating from America’s leading independent charity evaluator, Charity Navigator.

Charity Navigator wrote,

We are proud to announce Fauna & Flora International has earned our 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances…indicating that Fauna & Flora International executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This ‘exceptional designation’ from Charity Navigator differentiates Fauna & Flora International from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.

The data-driven analysis used by Charity Navigator has been profiled and celebrated by Forbes, Business Week, and Kiplinger’s Financial Magazine, among others.

FFI has long been recognized for applying the vast majority of its revenue to essential fieldwork.  Our 2009 Financial Audit reflected that 93.6 cents on the dollar from the U.S. reached our programs, a feature that we are particularly proud to highlight.

We are committed to staying lean, and focused on delivering what our field teams and their local partners need to effectively tackle biodiversity challenges in their special corners of the globe.

We need your help in order to retain this nimble structure and field focus, and hope that our good 4-star news furthers your resolve to make us part of your year-end giving.  Please remember that Newman’s Own Foundation will match the first $100,000 in individual gifts contributed to Fauna & Flora International between now and December 31st.

Please take a moment to make a gift that will mean the world to FFI, our local partners, and endangered species and habitats globally.
