Deutsche Bank Senior Executive and CEO of Mesoblast joins FFI Australia Founder’s Board

Posted on: 28.09.10 (Last edited) 26 January 2015

FFI Australia is delighted to announce two new additions to its illustrious Founders’ Board. Tim King- Managing Director of Research at Deutsche Bank – and Professor Silviu Itescu – Chairman of Mesoblast have both been welcomed to the group.

Tim brings with him a wealth of experience within carbon and Environmental Social Governance research. He has got to know FFI and our work over the last couple of years and has been impressed by what he regards as a “unique” approach to conservation. He is also working hard to support our Natural Value Initiative, which aims to build investor understanding of biodiversity risk and opportunity.

Melbourne based Silviu has an outstanding international reputation in the fields of stem cell biology, autoimmune diseases, organ transplantation and heart disease. Silviu has a particular interest in the importance of biodiversity within medical advancement.

In the 2 years since FFI Australia formally established we have developed a diverse, influential and passionate group of business people and philanthropists who are dedicating their time, energy and resources facilitating FFI’s on ground works both locally and globally.
