Working with the business community enables us to tackle some of the main causes of habitat and species loss. It also provides us with an opportunity to address issues collectively and draw on private sector resources such as links with the corporate sector, business acumen and expertise, and finance.
Frequently this takes the shape of working on issues which simply are not possible to tackle in isolation. A key part of our approach involves working with the private sector to enable it to understand and manage its impacts on biodiversity.
