Fauna & Flora International (FFI) was originally established in 1903 and is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity in England and Wales.
In the UK, FFI was established under a Memorandum of Association, which sets out its objects and powers, and is governed under its Articles of Association by an elected Board of Trustees or 'Council'.
FFI has sister organisations in the United States of America and Australia.

FFI’s Patron is Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and the organisation has a number of honorary ambassadors in the form of its President and Vice Presidents.
